IF- Plain

When I saw that the word for this week was "plain" I knew I was going to do another faceless figure. This reminds me of another artists style but I cannot seem to remember her name. If any of you know which one I'm talking about please let me know. Anyways, I had fun doing this very clean, limited and peaceful ( with a tinge of surprise ) illo. Let me know what you think.

Very peaceful. I actually feel calmer when I look at it and I need that today. I like the design of the faceless figure and simple nature of it all. Thanks for the kind words on my Blog.

I don't know the artist your referring to, but the first thing I thought of when I saw your image was Phillip Jose Farmer, who wrote strange sci-fi stories. I think it's because of your faceless strangely necked character. I like the design.

Julie, I love the simplicity of this! I'm a real fan of faceless people myself (I probably use them more than I should, actually) but this is really working for you, especially combined with the design-y feel of this.

Thanks for your comments on my entry!
